Voice activation exercises combine intentional breathing, gentle vocal sounds, and articulation practice to help you ease into speaking, bring attention to your delivery, and express yourself with greater intention.

Try these exercises along with Jennifer. Follow along at your own comfortable pace—perfection isn’t the goal; getting ready to share your message is:

- Diaphragmatic breathing: Relax your jaw, breathe in for four counts, and breathe out for six. Repeat three times.

- Lip trills: Gently blow air through relaxed lips, allowing them to vibrate. Try five in a row.

- Tongue trills: Practice a gentle rolling sound with your tongue, keeping the movement easy and relaxed.

- Tongue stretches: Gently stretch and move your tongue as part of your articulation warm-up.

- Vowel practice: Slowly say “A, E, I, O, U,” exaggerating your mouth movements.

- “Red leather, yellow leather”: Repeat five times, focusing on clarity rather than speed.

- “Unique New York”: Repeat five times, giving each word its full expression.
