Jennifer: Welcome to the Women in Podcasting Show. My name is Jennifer Henczel and today I have Claudia Noriega-Bernstein with me. I’m so excited to have you here, Claudia, because you’re one of my favorite people. You’re so inspiring. I love following everything you do. Tell me what’s new with you.
Claudia: Right now, one of my first books has the 50-year anniversary, so I’m going to publish it with a new face and include many of the lessons I’ve learned in life. The title is Brighter Days — it’s on Amazon. My last children’s book won an International Impact Book Award. It’s very close to my heart because it helps children understand the importance of telling the truth and not keeping harmful secrets. It’s now being used with children in foster homes and children who have been abused. That makes me very proud. Plus, my coaching practice fills my heart.
Jennifer: You are changing so many lives. And congratulations on the award! We’ll put links to both of those books in the show notes. Claudia, you’ve empowered so many women to release fear and step into their personal power. What was the pivotal moment that sparked your mission to help women manifest abundance and claim their inner confidence?
Claudia: It goes back to when my kids were little and I was going through a divorce. I realized that everything I believed about myself wasn’t actually me — they were all beliefs I had adopted from others. I spent half of my life trying to be the good girl, the perfect wife, or whoever the world thought I should be. I had to peel away those layers and find my true self. It was a healing journey, but also very enlightening because in the process, I stopped generational cycles and changed the reality for my daughters. I vividly remember sitting in front of four plates with eggs because I didn’t even know how I liked my eggs — I always adapted to someone else’s preferences. Once I started discovering who I was, everything changed.
Jennifer: You have such an inspiring journey — and you started your career as a journalist, right?
Claudia: Yes. I published my first book when I was very young, but it was published under my husband’s name at that time because he told me no one would buy a book written by a 21-year-old woman. I believed that limiting belief. Later I started doing soap operas — which happened by accident — and then script writing. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized my true mission was to empower women. I never want women to go through what I went through. We learn through our own experiences, but if someone can guide you and help you feel seen, that’s a gift.
Jennifer: You were a soap opera star?
Claudia: Yes — the show aired in 38 countries. I couldn’t walk on the streets. People would literally sell the outfits I wore on the show! But experiencing fame so young helped me realize that popularity isn’t what matters. Now people base their worth on likes and followers. I already went through that and realized it’s empty. My focus is impact.
Jennifer: Paul and I love studying manifestation and I know you’re an expert in that. What can you share about how manifestation really works?
Claudia: The biggest misconception is thinking that wishing, praying, or wanting something is enough. You don’t get what you want — you get what you are. Imagine you’re a radio receiver. If you’re not tuned to the right vibration, all you get is static. Once you match the vibration of what you want, things start to manifest. It’s about claiming it with zero doubt. You already embody the version of yourself that receives that outcome. When I entered the Women in Podcasting Awards, I was already repeating in my head that you were going to say my name. It wasn’t arrogance — it was claiming what was meant for me.
Jennifer: So it’s more about receiving than chasing.
Claudia: Exactly. You bring your vibration to where it’s available. But your beliefs must align. You can say something out loud, but if deep down you don’t feel worthy, the message you send to the universe is “I can’t have this.” You have to truly believe and feel it. That’s why, in my retreats, after we create a vision board, I ask women to write a feeling next to each thing they want. You don’t want the new car just because it looks pretty. You want how it feels when you sit in it. Once you attach a high-vibration feeling to each goal, manifestation becomes much easier.
Jennifer: I love that. We’ve done vision boards too and we drew each picture while feeling the emotion — and half of it has already manifested.
Claudia: Yes, because when your belief and your emotion are aligned with what you desire, you become a magnet. You don’t chase anything — you attract. But you must stay open to receive.
Jennifer: You also offer retreats where you teach this, right?
Claudia: Yes — I do them in the spring and fall. The last one was called The Art of I’m Becoming. We explored limiting beliefs, the roles we adopt to fit in, and then created art that represents the version of ourselves we’re becoming. You can’t imagine something that isn’t already inside of you. That art becomes a reminder of who you truly are.
Jennifer: Every time we talk, I walk away with golden nuggets. Thank you for being here today. Where can people find you?
Claudia: Everything is under my name — Claudia Noriega-Bernstein. My website, Instagram, and email: Brighter Days Book. I also offer free discovery calls for women who feel they’ve lost themselves in different roles and want to reclaim their identity.
Jennifer: And your discovery call link is right on your website.
Claudia: Yes — anyone can sign up.
Jennifer: If you have a call with Claudia, you’ll walk away inspired. Check out the show notes at womenpodcasters.com and we’ll see you next time. Be encouraged. Bye for now.
Claudia: Thank you.
